Okay, so how did I found out about One Direction? Well, I live in America, so it wasn’t TV or Magazines…at the time, it was August 30th, 2011. I remember. I was on Tumblr, you know, Tumblring, and then this gif pops up. I look at the tags at the bottom. I was like “Who is he?” And, I saw at the bottom the tag “#harry styles” and I was like, “Whose that?” So, I went to YouTube and typed in “Harry Styles” and the video “Harry Styles X-Factor Audition (Full Version” popped up, so I clicked on it. I watched the entire video and I was like “Whoa, this guy is a great singer.” Then, on the sidebar…where they put the “Related Videos” was “What Makes You Beautiful” . I clicked on it, and then I was introduced to One Direction.  I will never forget how I found out about One Direction. It was all because of that gif up above. I was just thinking, if it wasn’t for Tumblr, and if it wasn’t for this gif, I wouldn’t of found out about them as fast as I did. When I found out about them, I’m pretty sure I was the only one at my school who knew who they were. I don’t know, I feel more special that I found out about them by myself and that I didn’t find them in my magazine, or on the TV, or by Facebook. I don’t know, it just makes me smile. I remember how excited I got about them, because that song…it was the best song I’ve ever heard. I couldn’t wait to tell some of closest friends at school the next day. I remember going up to one of my friends and being like, “So, yesterday I was on the computer, and I found this band…they’re amazing.” And then, later that day, I showed my friends, and we played that song on replay and we jammed out. And then I started watching all of the video diaries the day before, from the X-Factor. Ah, those videos will always be the best videos. “The boys on the stairs.” I’ll never forget those two days. Funny thing is, I never knew I would love them so much and that they’d be such a big part of my life, meaning, listening to their music all the time, getting super excited when their new songs were out, and when they announced their CD coming out, I remember thinking to myself, “That’s going to be sooo amazing, having more than 1 or 2 songs sung by them!?” And I also remember thinking, “They’re going to be huge here in a couple of months.” Now, they’re super famous, and I’m so proud of them. 

Wow. 

Hah, you could definitely say that I love One Direction.
